Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Befor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barnabeh Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belfort comes into the arena with Finch - Letters To You blaring out of the sound system. Befor Belfort has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Belfort moves out of range easily.
Belfort shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Belfort lands with a nice body punch.
Silva stalks Belfort and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Belfort's face. Belfort staggers backwards, shaken.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Belfort pushes him off.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Silva blocks the body kick.
Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Belfort takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.
Belfort keeps the fight on the outside.
Belfort ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Belfort lands with a nice body punch.

Belfort steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Belfort.
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Silva misses with a two punch combination.
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A low kick from Belfort is predictable there
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Belfort paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Belfort tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Belfort.
Belfort shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Belfort throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belfort creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Silva sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Belfort lands a decent elbow from side control.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Belfort has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belfort. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Befor Belfort dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Belfort throws out the jab.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Belfort shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Silva is looking to clinch but Belfort is avoiding it.

Belfort is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silva can do to turn this around?
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Belfort shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Belfort was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Silva takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Belfort lands a big shot there that rocks Silva but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Belfort postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Silva in real trouble here! The ref calls for Silva to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
