Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrimp connects with the punch.
Carwin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shrimp.
Carwin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shrimp.
Shrimp shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carwin as he avoids it easily.
A combination from Carwin does no damage.
Shrimp shoots for a double leg takedown but Carwin sprawls well. He's pushed Shrimp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Shrimp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shrimp shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carwin sprawls well. Carwin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shrimp gets slowly back to his feet.
Frank Carwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Shrimp.
Carwin misses with a wild body shot.
Carwin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Carwin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Shrimp jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Shrimp avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shrimp connects with a body shot that sends Carwin's belly button to the back.
Shrimp tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Carwin is able to avoid easily.
Carwin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shrimp.
Carwin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carwin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shrimp cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Shrimp avoids the body shot from Carwin.
Shrimp with a hook.
A combination from Carwin does no damage.
Shrimp lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shrimp.
Carwin is breathing heavily.
Carwin misses with the combination.
Carwin misses with a wild body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shrimp fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carwin avoids it really well and circles away.
Carwin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Shrimp looks to score with a jab to the body but Carwin is just out of range.
Carwin throws a combination that misses
and Shrimp counters with a right hand to the body.
Shrimp dives in and scores a takedown into Carwin's guard.
Shrimp with a nice head shot there.

Carwin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Shrimp decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Carwin, up you get!
Shrimp scores with a nice head shot.
Shrimp shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice sprawl there from Carwin as Shrimp shoots in.
Carwin misses the shot to the body.
Shrimp's corner calls for a 1-2. Shrimp obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Shrimp drives through with a takedown into guard.
Carwin wants to stand and escape but Shrimp is having none of it.
Shrimp controlling from the top position.
Shrimp is pushing down on Carwin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Carwin is fighting to maintain full guard but Shrimp has managed to sneak the leg through.

Shrimp moves nicely into side control.
Shrimp lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Shrimp scoring with punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shrimp moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Shrimp looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Shrimp advances nicely into full mount.
Shrimp throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Shrimp looking to control and managing it successfully.
Shrimp lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Shrimp dominated that round.
That's time! Carwin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Shrimp throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shrimp has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Shrimp shoots in looking for a takedown but Carwin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Shrimp's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Carwin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Carwin throws a right and a left that Shrimp avoids nicely.
Carwin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shrimp moves away.
Shrimp has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Shrimp lands an overhand right.
It looks like Frank Carwin has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carwin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Shrimp lands with a shot to the body.
A jab lands there for Shrimp.
Shrimp lands with a right that hurts Carwin. Carwin looks to clinch but Shrimp throws a short knee that drops Carwin. This one is all over!
