Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shane Williams is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Clark Kent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shane Williams! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut. Williams keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kent throws a head kick that misses. Williams misses with a body kick. Williams on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kent looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kent throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams. Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kent moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A jab from Kent misses. Williams throws a series of strikes that have Kent backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Williams is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kent sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kent throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A punch lands to the side of Kent 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kent shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense. Williams feints and then cracks Kent's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kent down. Williams scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Kent with that takedown attempt. Kent is breathing heavily. Williams moves in looking to clinch but Kent pushes him off. Williams slips a jab and a cross from Kent.
Kent avoids a punch combination nicely.
Clark Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williams gets caught flat footed, as Kent shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Williams looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Williams wants to sweep here but Kent controlling him for the moment. Williams looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Williams throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kent uses it to pass to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kent off and has taken his back! The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Williams's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams misses with an elbow to the head. Kent looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Williams loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Kent hold on?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Williams misses with an elbow to the head. Williams looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams struggling to land strikes to the head as Kent covers up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Williams scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Kent is covering up but some of the strikes from Williams are getting through and doing damage.
Williams misses with punches from the back. Kent prevents Williams from getting a body triangle. Williams is persistently looking for the submission but Kent is defending it well.
Williams is not going to allow Kent to sit and survive in this position. Williams has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Williams lands with a hammerfist to the side of Kent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kent turns into Williams and is now in his guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kent thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kent working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Williams's head. Kent chips away with some ground and pound. Kent wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Kent postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kent missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Williams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kent doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kent manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kent passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Williams dominated that round. The cut man is working on Clark Kent's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kent looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Williams leaves Kent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kent looks for the body kick but Williams saw that one coming. Williams avoids the head kick by Kent.
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A solid leg kick lands there for Williams.

Kent takes a swing at Williams's ribcage but misses. Clark Kent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williams looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Williams avoids the head kick by Kent.
A punch combination from Kent misses. Williams dodges the punch combination from Kent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent connects with a right hand. Williams shakes it off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kent tries a head kick but it misses.
Sloppy strikes from Williams. Those never looked like landing. Williams blocks a head kick by Kent.
Kent looks to land a combination but Williams avoids it well. Kent avoids a punch combination nicely.
Williams fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kent throws a shot from downtown. Williams moves away and avoids it. Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams wants to clinch. Kent misses with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kent circles away quickly and effectively. Williams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Williams closes the distance and pushes Kent back into the cage. Williams prevents the takedown attempt.
Williams lands a nice elbow.
Clark Kent's cut is getting worse. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams scores a nice knee to the body.
Kent looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clark Kent. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kent takes a knee right on the jaw!
Williams crunches a lovely knee into Kent's ribcage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Williams obliges. Williams drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kent gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Williams. Williams gets a trip takedown into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Williams not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kent misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Williams throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Williams winds up and cracks Kent with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kent keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Williams throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Williams thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williams is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Williams lands with a punch from half guard. Williams not landing any meaningful shots this time. Williams trying to control from half guard but Kent is working away. Williams looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kent blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams. Williams thows a huge punch but Kent dodges it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Williams lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kent on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Shane Williams has got the better of the ground game so far. Kent is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Clark Kent's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Kent throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily. Kent throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Williams counters with a nice double leg into guard. Williams is looking to work some ground and pound but Kent has wrist control. Williams working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Williams distracts Kent with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Williams advances position into side control! Kent is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Williams asserts his dominance and retains side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Kent is working to avoid the ground and pound but Williams connects with a decent elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent defending against the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Williams is trying to get an arm triangle but Kent is defending well. Williams working the head and body with strikes. Williams looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Williams wants to control but Kent is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Kent's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shane Williams is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kent! Williams scoring with strikes but Kent is staying in there. Williams dominating with strikes here. Williams is working for a guillotine from mount but Kent frees his head quite easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kent sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Williams missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kent blocking the ground and pound attempt from Williams.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams works his way into full mount! Kent in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Williams has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kent can't escape the position.
You get the feeling that Kent really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Clark Kent has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Williams lands a big elbow. Williams looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Williams scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Williams unloading with bombs! Kent is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Williams lands a big shot there that rocks Kent but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kent bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Williams looking for a guillotine here but Kent defends easily.
Kent landing some decent shots from guard. Williams utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kent is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Williams is trying to keep Kent in close.
And that's the end of the fight! Shane Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
