The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikolai lands with a nice combination. The World backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Versus The World has been cut.
A slow jab from The World misses its intended target.
Nikolai looks to land a combination but The World avoids it well.
Nikolai throws a body punch but The World moves out of range.
Nikolai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nikolai throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nikolai drops his hands momentarily and The World takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Vasechkin Nikolai has been cut.
The World connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nikolai momentarily.
Nikolai lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nikolai.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The World swings for the body but Nikolai moves out of range.
Nikolai throws a right hand that The World ducks under and follows up with a left that The World also avoids with ease.
Nikolai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The World avoids a punch combination nicely.
The World thows a body shot but no joy.
The World throws out a loose jab but Nikolai uses good head movement to avoid it.
The World will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The World lands a two punch combo.
The World scores with a nice head shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nikolai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The World moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The World feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nikolais jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The World scores with a jab.
The World finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Nikolai swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nikolai gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That has opened up Vasechkin Nikolai's cut even more.
Nikolai takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The World connects with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The World paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The World throws a nice looking combination but Nikolai bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nikolai throws a one two combo.
The World uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nikolai has time to react.
Nikolai throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The World stuns Nikolai with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nikolai looks gassed!
Nikolai throws a combination but it was largely blocked by The World.
The World throws out a powerful jab.

The cut above Vasechkin Nikolai's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The World misses with a double jab.
Nikolai lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The World circles away quickly and effectively.
The World throws a leg kick but Nikolai moved away.
The World lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The World tries to land a leg kick but Nikolai saw it coming and moves away.
The World displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Nikolai is rocked!
The World works Nikolai's body with a nice hook.
The World cracks Nikolai with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nikolai is still on wobbly legs! Can The World finish him?

Vasechkin Nikolai's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The World wobbles Nikolai with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! The World dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Nikolai to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
