The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

silva gets a takedown into half guard.
silva is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
silva prevents Daisuke from improving his position.
silva tries to stand and escape but Daisuke is controlling the position.

Daisuke makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Daisuke.

silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Nice sprawl there from silva as Daisuke shoots in.
silva is looking to clinch.

Daisuke scores with a takedown into silva's guard.
Daisuke missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Daisuke postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Daisuke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Daisuke is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Daisuke is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Daisuke asserts his dominance and retains side control.

silva grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.

Daisuke cracks silva with a big right hand from the back mount! silva immediately covers up and the referee dives in to save him under a barrage of more strikes! Daisuke takes this one by TKO!
