Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Greve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 509-E - Oitavo Anjo. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greve feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rodrigues's calf.
Greve avoids a punch combination nicely.
Greve rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rodrigues moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Greve uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodrigues.
A left and a right from Greve both land. Nice combination.
Rodrigues is rocked!
Greve looks to land a left hand but Rodrigues moved out of range nicely.
A choreographed right hand from Greve misses the target.

Rodrigues fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Greve sprawls well initially but Rodrigues persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rodrigues accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rodrigues stands up and beckons Greve to join him on the feet.

Rodrigues changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Greve looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rodrigues is looking to take a break and control but Greve is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Greve is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Rodrigues is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Greve is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Greve is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Greve's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rodrigues staying out of range there.
Greve closes the distance and clinches.
Greve manages to break the clinch.
Rodrigues takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Greve takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Greve throws out a loose jab but Rodrigues uses good head movement to avoid it.

That was a close round but I would say that Paul Greve will probably get the nod.

Rodrigues stuffs the takedown attempt from Greve. Greve gets slowly back to his feet.
Greve closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rodrigues gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Greve shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodrigues tries to sprawl out of it but Greve keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodrigues manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Greve breaks Rodrigues's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Rodrigues will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
