Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Dammon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Sigurdsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dammon comes to the cage accompanied by "You're the Voice" - Heart . Sigurdsson has chosen 2ne1 - Can't Nobody as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigurdsson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Dammon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sigurdsson.
Sigurdsson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dammon.
Dammon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Dammon throws out a loose jab but Sigurdsson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice straight punches there by Sigurdsson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sigurdsson.

Sigurdsson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dammon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dammon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Dammon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Dammon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dammon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Frank Sigurdsson has been cut.
Sigurdsson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dammon rather than just go for the knockout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dammon postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Sigurdsson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Dammon around the waist but Dammon pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Dammon is the winner by TKO! Dammon jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Dammon!
