Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richard Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Peruzzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Nixon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Danny Peruzzi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Nixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Peruzzi! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nixon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Peruzzi swivels and escapes. Peruzzi with a jab. Nixon looks for a takedown but Peruzzi sprawls well. Peruzzi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Horrible takedown by Nixon or perhaps it was just good defense by Peruzzi which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Nixon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peruzzi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Peruzzi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Peruzzi wants it to stay on the feet. Peruzzi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nixon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nixon is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peruzzi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Richard Nixon has been cut. Nixon drops his hands momentarily and Peruzzi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Peruzzi thuds a left hand into Nixon's body. Peruzzi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nixon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Danny Peruzzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nixon takes a body punch but keeps moving. Peruzzi dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Peruzzi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Nixons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nixon is rocked! Peruzzi ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Nixon's jaw. Nixon's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Peruzzi does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Danny Peruzzi!
