Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aikanaro Mitsurugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unknown Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unknown Fighter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitsurugi has his takedown stuffed and Fighter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mitsurugi won't be happy with that. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fighter wants to stand but Mitsurugi has his arm trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mitsurugi, who protects the arm well. Mitsurugi sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Fighter tries to stand and escape but Mitsurugi is controlling the position. Mitsurugi is trying to get back to full guard. Fighter wants to free his trapped foot but Mitsurugi is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mitsurugi is pressing down on Fighter's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fighter trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mitsurugi's guard. Mitsurugi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fighter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fighter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitsurugi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fighter is aware though and is defending well. Fighter wants to control from the top but Mitsurugi keeps moving. Mitsurugi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mitsurugi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fighter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mitsurugi is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fighter avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fighter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Fighter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mitsurugi looking for subs off his back but Fighter has passed one foot through into half guard.
Fighter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mitsurugi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fighter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mitsurugi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fighter. Mitsurugi is looking for a sweep. Fighter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mitsurugi works his way to full guard. Good work. Fighter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mitsurugi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitsurugi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Mitsurugi wants to sweep here but Fighter controlling him for the moment. Mitsurugi is working an open guard so Fighter takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mitsurugi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mitsurugi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fighter tries to hold on but Mitsurugi postures up. Mitsurugi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fighter is on top in guard.
Mitsurugi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fighter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mitsurugi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fighter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fighter should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mitsurugi looking for a guillotine here but Fighter defends easily.
Fighter trying to control the position from guard on top but Mitsurugi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fighter trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mitsurugi's guard. Mitsurugi keeping moving, preventing Fighter from controlling successfully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fighter has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Mitsurugi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Fighter is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Mitsurugi pulls down on the head and he's put Fighter to sleep! This one is all over!
