Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keane Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Cristo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Keane Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Cristo!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane throws a hook but Cristo blocks it.
Cristo misses with a straight left.
Cristo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A punch combination from Cristo misses.
Kane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cristo. That did some damage!
Cristo looks to clinch
and Kane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kane turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Cristo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kane.
Kane scores with a nice right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cristo, as that shot connected.
Kane throws the left hand but Cristo avoids the punch easily.

Kane misses with an uppercut. Cristo saw that one coming.
Kane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cristo looks to land a combination but Kane avoids it well.
Cristo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cristo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kane.
Kane scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice straight punches there by Kane. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kane.
No joy there for Cristo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kane feints and then cracks Cristo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cristo down.
Sloppy strikes from Cristo. Those never looked like landing.
Cristo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cristo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kane looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kane listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Cristo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kane.
Cristo checks a leg kick.

Cristo throws the left hand but Kane avoids the punch easily.
Kane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cristo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kane misses with a straight right.
Cristo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Cristo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cristo slips a jab from Kane.
Cristo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No joy there for Cristo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cristo throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kane slips a jab and a cross from Cristo.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kane.
Michael Cristo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cristo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cristo looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cristo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kane throws a lazy uppercut
and Cristo counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kane scores with a jab. Cristo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Cristo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keane Kane dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Kane throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Cristo tumbling to the canvas!


Cristo is rocked!
Kane pushing down on Cristo's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Cristo is still in real trouble! Can Kane finish him?
Kane looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Kane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cristo is just riding it out for now. Kane eventually gives up the hold.
Cristo is trying to stand back up but Kane is controlling him
Cristo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kane slows the pace down in half guard.
Cristo seems to have recovered his senses.

Kane works his way into side control.
Kane is staying tight to Cristo's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Kane misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kane is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cristo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Kane postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kane moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Cristo prevents Kane from improving position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kane trying to control the action but Cristo is working from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cristo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cristo wants to get back to his feet but Kane drags him back down.

Kane looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Cristo is not content to let Kane control the position.

Kane is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Kane misses with the ground and pound.

Kane tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kane controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keane Kane dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Cristo tries to bum rush Kane with a series of wild strikes but Kane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cristo.
A head kick misses from Cristo.
Cristo fails to land with a series of punches.
Cristo throws a series of punches but Kane avoids them all with ease.
Kane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cristo's head.
Cristo thuds his right hand into Kane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cristo tries to clinch up
and Kane counters with a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kane avoids the body shot from Cristo.
Cristo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cristo can do to turn this around?
Kane misses with an uppercut. Cristo saw that one coming.
Kane throws a solid leg kick but Cristo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kane.
Cristo throws a nice looking combination but Kane bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cristo is looking to clinch but Kane is avoiding it.
Kane throws a series of punches but Cristo avoids them all with ease.
Kane takes a swing at Cristo's ribcage but misses.
Cristo missing with a left hand there. Kane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Keane Kane is winning the standup battle so far.

No joy there for Kane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kane avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cristo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kane walks into a jab.
Kane looks to score with a jab to the body but Cristo is just out of range.
Cristo lands with an overhand left.
Kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kane lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cristo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cristo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kane cracks Cristo with an open hand slap.
Cristo feints a jab promting Kane to slip. Cristo then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kane slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Keane Kane has been cut.

Cristo shoots in and gets a takedown into Kane's guard.
Kane pulls Cristo in close to prevent any damage.
Kane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cristo is one step ahead there.
Cristo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kane is proving hard to escape from.
Kane wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kane throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Kane is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kane tries to land a front kick but Cristo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A bone on bone clash there as Cristo blocks the leg kick.
Michael Cristo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cristo misses with the combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A head kick misses from Cristo.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Michael Cristo.
Well Kane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
