Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Bullit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopo comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Bullit is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter Sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hessu Hopo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damien Bullit! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hopo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bullit. That did some damage! Damien Bullit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hopo misses with a few strikes there.
Hopo digs a good hook to Bullit's body.
Hopo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bullit moves away. Hopo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bullit scores with a head kick. Hopo tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hopo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Bullit gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hopo to score an easy takedown into full guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Hopo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bullit works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hopo throwing strikes but missing. Hopo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hopo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopo wants to control from the top but Bullit keeps moving. Bullit is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hopo scoring with punches to the head and body. Hopo with a flurry of punches that miss. Hopo with a nice head shot there. Hopo scoring with some ground and pound. Bullit wants to get back to his feet but Hopo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hopo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hopo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bullit swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bullit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hopo throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Hopo is looking to work some ground and pound but Bullit has wrist control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bullit can do anything to dispel that myth. Bullit not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hopo with a flurry of punches that miss. Hopo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hopo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hopo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hopo works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hopo is nestled in close to Bullit, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nice strikes from Hopo there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hopo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopo is looking for a kimura here.
Hopo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bullit is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hopo scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hopo thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bullit to regain full guard. Hopo wants to control from the top but Bullit keeps moving. Hopo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hopo throwing strikes but missing. Hopo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bullit's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hopo throwing strikes but missing. Hopo with a nice head shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hopo slips nicely into half guard. Well, if Hopo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bullit is staying active underneath Hopo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hopo winds up and cracks Bullit with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hopo is looking for a kimura here.
Bullit wants to improve his position but Hopo is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hessu Hopo dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bullit throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hopo counters with a takedown into side control. Hopo creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hopo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bullit some visible discomfort.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bullit is looking for a sweep. Bullit takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hopo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bullit down.
Bullit is rocked! Hopo tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bullit can't do much from the bottom here. Hopo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hopo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hopo scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopo lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bullit is still in real trouble! Can Hopo finish him? Hopo with the ground and pound but Bullit regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Bullit seems to have recovered his senses. Hopo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hopo works his way into full mount! The referee warns Bullit that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bullit is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hopo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bullit is surviving well by controlling Hopo's body position as best he can. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hopo lands a nice shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bullit really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hopo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hopo lands a big shot to the head and Bullit winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
