Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokes doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Pending decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stokes's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pending tries to free his leg and advance position but Stokes is retaining full guard.
Pending trying to control but Stokes is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pending slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Pending tries to free his leg and advance position but Stokes is retaining full guard.
Stokes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stokes is looking to stand up but Pending isn't so interested in that idea.
Pending wants to control from the top but Stokes keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Fyodor Pending hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Pending closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stokes quickly recovers to half guard.
Stokes is breathing heavily.

Pending in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Stokes tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Pending!
