Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aku Zoku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pointon Slavey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slavey is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Predict A Riot. Pointon Slavey will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pointon Slavey!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoku fails with the takedown.
Zoku staying out of range there.
Slavey throws a looping overhand right but Zoku ducks down to avoid it.
Slavey catches Zoku with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Slavey clinches.
Slavey effectively controlling the action here.
Zoku tries to pull guard but Slavey won't allow it.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Zoku as Slavey tries to tie him up.
Zoku can't find room to land a body shot as Slavey controls the action.

Slavey swings wildly with an uppercut but Zoku uses good head movement to avoid it.

Slavey wants to stall.
Zoku tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zoku ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Zoku no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Slavey tries to free his leg and advance position but Zoku is retaining full guard.
Zoku is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zoku has his hands on Slavey's head, controlling the position.
Slavey wants to get up but he can't break Zoku's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zoku blocks a jab.
Zoku shoots in and bounces Slavey off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Slavey avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Slavey wriggles free and stands up.
Zoku uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Slavey.
Slavey works over Zoku's head and body with a nice combination.
Slavey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slavey wants it to stay on the feet.
Slavey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zoku circles away quickly and effectively.

Slavey throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slavey lands a jab.
Slavey throws a lazy right hand but Zoku sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A combination from Slavey does no damage.
Slavey looks to land a left hand but Zoku moved out of range nicely.
Zoku tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slavey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zoku somewhat.
Slavey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zoku moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Horrible takedown by Zoku or perhaps it was just good defense by Slavey which made him look bad.
Zoku takes one to the side of the head.
Slavey moves in looking to clinch but Zoku pushes him off.

Slavey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zoku moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zoku slips a jab from Slavey.
Slavey shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zoku eats them both and turns towards Slavey to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Zoku slips a straight right by Slavey.
Zoku shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Slavey's guard.

Slavey wants to stand but Zoku is controlling the position.

Zoku prevents Slavey from getting back to his feet.
Zoku working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Slavey's head.

Slavey wants to control from the top but Zoku keeps moving.
Zoku has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zoku is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slavey is controlling him.
Zoku pulls Slavey in close to his closed guard and prevents Slavey from doing any damage or advancing position.

Zoku has a closed guard, preventing Slavey from standing up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Zoku lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Slavey!
Slavey wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Zoku.
Slavey really wants to buck Zoku off and get back to his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slavey can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pointon Slavey's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pointon Slavey's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
