Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Karol Monano!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.
Monano moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.
Monano scores with a kick to the body.
Jackson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jackson throws a right hand that misses
and Monano counters with a good low kick that Jackson was not able to check.
Jackson misses the jab.
No luck for Monano with that takedown attempt.
Monano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Monano off to one side.
Randy Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karol Monano.
Monano avoids the body shot from Jackson.
Monano lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson slips a jab and a cross from Monano.
Some wild striking there from Monano.
Monano moves to clinch but Jackson breaks away
and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Monano lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.
Jackson looks to land a left hand but Monano moved out of range nicely.
Monano fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Karol Monano has been cut.
Monano misses with a double jab.
Monano misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Monano, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jackson throws a hook but Monano avoids it easily.
Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Monano. Monano gets slowly back to his feet.
Monano slips under a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Monano uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Monano moves out of range as Jackson strikes.
Monano takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Monano looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jackson scores with a jab to the jaw.
Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Monano changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Monano manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Monano dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Monano's head and hops out.
Monano on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Monano takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Monano throws a wild hook but Jackson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Monano gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Jackson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Jackson!
