The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranetok takes one on the button.
It looks like Lena Ranetok has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Abramov. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Abramov.
Abramov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ranetok was well out of range. Poor timing from Abramov.
Abramov keeps the fight on the outside.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Abramov, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abramov takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Abramov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ranetok decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Abramov tries to roll over but Ranetok keeps him under control.
Abramov flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ranetok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Abramov is trying desperately to improve position.

Abramov tries to hold on but Ranetok pushes him away.
Ranetok is looking to stand but Ranetok has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Ranetok is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Abramov somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Ranetok doesn't manage to clinch there - Abramov circles away.

Abramov sends Ranetok crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Abramov is motioning to the referee to let Ranetok up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Ranetok is rocked!
Lena Ranetok's cut is getting worse.
A nice inside leg kick there by Abramov. That's going to slow Ranetok down.
Oh Ranetok is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Abramov dances in with a quick combination. Ranetok is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Abramov snaps Ranetok's head back. Ranetok stumbles backwards against the cage. Abramov steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Ranetok's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Ranetok just didn't come prepared.
