Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonnie Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fierro comes to the cage accompanied by Punkrocker. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jonnie Fierro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Wiggins! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiggins shoots in for a takedown but Fierro shows good takedown defense. Fierro lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nice jab there from Fierro. Fierro lands a jab-cross combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fierro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wiggins. Fierro moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sloppy strikes from Fierro. Those never looked like landing. Fierro takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Fierro misses with a combination
and Wiggins counters with a head kick. That will keep Fierro thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Wiggins is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fierro moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Wiggins tries for a takedown but Fierro sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fierro looks to land a combination but Wiggins avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiggins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jonnie Fierro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Wiggins. Fierro misses with a few strikes there.
Fierro moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Donk. Fierro catches Wiggins right on the button with a cross. Fierro scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wiggins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wiggins looks gassed! Fierro lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fierro connects with a crisp jab. Fierro scores with a sloppy right hand. Wiggins should have avoided that one. Wiggins takes a body punch but keeps moving. Fierro slaps away a takedown attempt from Wiggins, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wiggins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fierro is fending him off so far but Wiggins persists. Nope, Fierro circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fierro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wiggins. Wiggins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Fierro throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fierro lands a head shot. Fierro is pawing at Wiggins, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Wiggins's nose. Wiggins is badly hurt! Fierro pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Wiggins tries desperately to hold on but Fierro is relentless in his assault! As Wiggins receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Fierro away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonnie Fierro!
