Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akira Hayashida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayashida throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Gregory House seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayashida throws a head kick that misses.
Hayashida throws a poor cross that misses
and House counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
House swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
House forces Hayashida back against the cage and clinches.
House tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hayashida's elbow.
House tries to work over Hayashida's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
House misses with a punch to the body.
House tries a body shot but Hayashida blocks it.
House lands on the inside with an uppercut.
It looks like Akira Hayashida has been cut.
House tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
House scores with a nice hook to the head.
House doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
House can't find room to land a body shot as Hayashida controls the action.
House tries to throw a body punch but Hayashida avoids it by throwing House back against the cage.

House blocks a punch to the side of the head.

House misses with a shot to the kidneys.
House fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
House scores with a nice hook to the head.
House can't find room to land a body shot as Hayashida controls the action.

House tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hayashida paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Hayashida counters with a one-two to the body.
House scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hayashida doesn't seem bothered though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hayashida misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

House misses with a wild body shot.

Hayashida moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hayashida keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

House is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hayashida is rocked!
Hayashida gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! House points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Hayashida wakes up just in time to hear House thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
