Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Atama Deteike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Youri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Youri has chosen kill em' as his entrance music. Antonio Youri is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Atama Deteike! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Youri! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deteike closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Youri to the mat! Youri manages to get full guard. Deteike works over Youri with some ground and pound from guard. Deteike trying to control but Youri is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Youri preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Deteike is looking to advance position but Youri has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Deteike is in all sorts of trouble here.
Youri can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Deteike is looking to escape. Deteike tries to get back to half guard but can't. Youri wants to control the pace but Deteike is squirming around nicely. Deteike is looking to improve his position but Youri isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Youri tries to control but Deteike wriggling away. Deteike tries to hold on but Youri postures up. Youri controlling from the full mount. Youri wants to control the pace but Deteike is squirming around nicely. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Youri cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Deteike keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Youri can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Deteike is looking to escape. Youri punishing his opponent with strikes. Deteike is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Deteike is breathing heavily. Youri trying to control but he's not successful this time. Deteike really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Youri tries to control but Deteike wriggling away. Deteike regains half guard. Deteike on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Deteike tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Youri is thwarting Deteike's attempts to control the position. Deteike is refusing to be controlled, as Youri sits in half guard. Deteike looking for submissions off his back. Deteike is trying to get back to full guard. Deteike is looking to escape. Deteike punching from the bottom.
Deteike tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Youri has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Youri tries to control but Deteike wriggling away. Deteike tries to get back to half guard but can't. Deteike tries to lock up and control but Youri gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Deteike is just holding on here. Youri manages to take his back.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Deteike trying to control but not successfully. Deteike might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Youri struggling to keep hold of the position.

Atama Deteike dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Deteike shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Deteike was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Deteike moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Youri has worked his arm free - good work by Youri!
Deteike tries to move to mount but Youri blocks the move with his legs. Youri struggling a bit here. Youri sneaks back into half guard. Deteike stalling. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Deteike seems to be working for a kimura but Youri defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Youri is trying to control but can't.
Deteike scoring with strikes to the body and head. Deteike not doing much here.
Deteike seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Youri for as long as he can get away with. Deteike landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Deteike is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Youri trying to control but Deteike postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Deteike is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Youri reverses the position - he's now on top in Deteike's guard. Youri decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Youri goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Atama Deteike has been cut. Youri lands with a kick to the ribs.
Deteike scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Deteike stalling away here and it's allowed Youri to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Deteike preventing the sweep. Youri manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Deteike avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Antonio Youri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Deteike tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Youri swivels and escapes. Deteike tries to clinch up and Youri counters with a single leg into guard. Deteike didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deteike looking to control.
Deteike lands a decent punch to the body there. Deteike controlling Youri's posture. Youri is looking to stand up but Deteike won't let him. Youri being controlled here momentarily. Deteike keeping moving, preventing Youri from controlling successfully. Deteike not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Deteike lands a shot to the body. Deteike is working for takedown but Youri is calmly controlling the position for now. Deteike tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Youri just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atama Deteike. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deteike has had enough of the clinch but Youri keeps him there for the moment. Youri prevents a takedown attempt there.
Youri is working for takedown but Deteike is calmly controlling the position for now. Youri keeps control of Deteike as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Deteike is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Deteike tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Youri smiles and moves away.
Youri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Deteike's waist but Deteike gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Youri off to one side. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Deteike decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Atama Deteike overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Youri is trying to control but can't.

Antonio Youri showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Atama Deteike's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Deteike throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Deteike darts in and clinches Youri up against the cage. Deteike jumps guard but Youri stands there with Deteike around his waist. Deteike gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Deteike tries to score a body lock takedown but Youri shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Deteike fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atama Deteike. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deteike is trying to trip Youri. He has hold of a leg but Youri is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Deteike persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Youri looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Deteike lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Deteike throwing strikes from guard but Youri blocks nicely. Deteike is looking to stand up but Youri won't let him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Youri holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deteike wants to control from the top but Youri keeps moving. Deteike missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Deteike looking to sit in guard and control but Youri gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Youri tries to stand but Deteike is controlling from the bottom. Youri preventing the sweep.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Youri misses with a takedown attempt and Deteike counters with a takedown into side control. Deteike working away. Deteike is trying to move to mount but Youri reverses beautifully and ends up in Deteike's guard. Deteike had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Youri is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Deteike Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Youri's back instead.

Deteike lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Deteike.

Youri swivels though and keeps the full guard. Youri managing to control the position. Youri keeping moving, preventing Deteike from controlling successfully. Deteike pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Youri is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deteike throwing strikes but missing. Deteike trying to control the position from guard on top but Youri is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Deteike prevents Youri from getting back to his feet. Youri is trying to control the position but Deteike postures up.

Youri is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Deteike asserts his dominance and retains side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Deteike working the head and body with strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! The strikes coming from Deteike are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
