Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janis Lusis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Blood of Cuchulainn. Janis Lusis will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Janis Lusis!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lusis looks to throw the jab but Quinn is out of range.
Quinn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Quinn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Quinn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circling - Quinn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Quinn looks to land a right hand but Lusis moved out of range.
Quinn takes a swing at Lusis's ribcage but misses.
Lusis fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lusis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lusis feints and then cracks Quinn's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Quinn down.
Janis Lusis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lusis drops Quinn with a beautiful combination! Quinn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lusis is looking for the KO!
It looks like Pete Quinn has been cut.
Quinn is breathing heavily.
Quinn blocks a leg kick.
Lusis thows a body kick. Quinn tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Lusis sends Quinn crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lusis is motioning to the referee to let Quinn up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Quinn is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lusis cracks Quinn with a left hook right on the temple and Quinn goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Lusis lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Quinn is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Janis Lusis!
