Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Taavetti Merimies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Jackhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Merimies's entrance music is Turbonegro - Sailor man. A fine choice. Jackhammer has chosen Whats up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merimies lands with a nice combination. Jackhammer backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Tim Jackhammer has been cut.
Jackhammer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Merimies finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackhammer's head.
Jackhammer avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jackhammer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Merimies swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jackhammer shoots in looking for a takedown but Merimies manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackhammer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Good leg kick by Jackhammer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Merimies moves into range and connects with a jab.
Merimies takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Merimies throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jackhammer counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Jackhammer looks at the referee who does nothing so Jackhammer lands a crushing right that sends Merimies to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
