Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by AFI - Totalimmortal. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chuck White was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chuck White! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. White struggling a bit here. White tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nelson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nelson scores with a couple of short elbows. Nelson wants to lay and pray for a moment but White keeps working. Nelson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but White is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nelson wants to control but White is keeping him busy. White is looking for a sweep. A bit of a lull in the action here. White struggling a bit here. Nelson misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. White prevents Nelson from moving into mount. Nelson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. White struggling a bit here. Nelson trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nelson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed White's guard. White keeping hold of Nelson's head, controlling as best he can. Nelson prevents White from improving his position. Nelson trying to work for an americana but White has managed to regain full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White is looking to improve his position.

Jimmy Nelson dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
White bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. White's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nelson under the eye. White displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nelson throws out the jab. White throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nelson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but White avoids it really well and circles away. Chuck White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nelson fails with a takedown attempt. White throws a jab when Nelson was well out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. White stuffs the takedown attempt from Nelson. Nelson gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Nelson. That's going to take a lot out of him. White stuffs the takedown. White shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. White showed some decent athleticism there. White is nestled in close to Nelson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nelson blocking the ground and pound attempt from White.

Nelson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of White's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take White's back! White is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Nelson off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. White turns into Nelson and is now in his guard.
White throws and elbow that misses. Nelson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by Nelson! Nelson wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! White keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully. White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nelson's guard.

White throwing strikes from guard but Nelson blocks nicely. Nelson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. White throws a strike but Nelson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. White looking for a sweep. Not yet White, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nelson wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. White trying to keep a closed guard but Nelson is proving a slippery customer.
White is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Nelson wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White keeping full guard, as Nelson tries to pass. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. White controlling Nelson's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nelson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows White to score an easy takedown into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Nelson throws an overhand right that lands on White's shoulder, as White tries to avoid the shot. White ducks under a wild hook from Nelson. White shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nelson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. White scores with a decent looking elbow strike. White postures up and lands a big shot to Nelson's brow. White controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Nelson working a defensive guard here.

White must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White forces his way into half guard. White looks to land a strike but Nelson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. White trying to control but Nelson is working from the bottom. White looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nelson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nelson is trying to hold White in close to prevent damage but White has managed to pass into half guard.
Nelson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from White. White is pushing down on Nelson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nelson is fighting to maintain full guard but White has managed to sneak the leg through. White passes to full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. White looking to finish Nelson with some ground and pound. This is bad for Nelson!
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
