Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between O Shea Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tenhojohan Kainohaaveri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kainohaaveri's choice of entrance music: Good Riddance. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, O Shea Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tenhojohan Kainohaaveri!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good shot there by Kainohaaveri.
Jackson lands a lovely overhand right.
Kainohaaveri moves away from the strike by Jackson.
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jackson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kainohaaveri at a distance.

Jackson is rocked!
Kainohaaveri misses the jab.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jackson rushes Kainohaaveri and presses him up against the cage.
Jackson blocks the elbow strike.
Kainohaaveri throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kainohaaveri can't find room to land a body shot as Jackson controls the action.
Kainohaaveri throws a punch but it's blocked by Jackson.

Jackson jumps guard and drags Kainohaaveri to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jackson seems to have got his legs back now.
Kainohaaveri wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving.
Kainohaaveri is looking to work some ground and pound but Jackson has wrist control.
Jackson wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Kainohaaveri is now in half guard.
Jackson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kainohaaveri blocks the strikes from Jackson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kainohaaveri trying to control from half guard but Jackson is working away.
Jackson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kainohaaveri lands with a punch from half guard.
Kainohaaveri trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Ground and pound from Kainohaaveri.
Jackson tries to kick Kainohaaveri off but Kainohaaveri keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Kainohaaveri has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jackson is trying to get back to full guard.

Kainohaaveri is looking to stall here but Jackson recovers full guard.
Kainohaaveri working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jackson's head.
Jackson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kainohaaveri is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kainohaaveri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kainohaaveri stands up over Jackson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson is trying to control the position but Kainohaaveri postures up.
Jackson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jackson throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jackson scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Kainohaaveri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kainohaaveri controls the pace.
Jackson trying to keep a closed guard but Kainohaaveri is proving a slippery customer.
Kainohaaveri is stalling in the full guard.
Jackson wants to stand up but Kainohaaveri is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jackson scores with a nice right hand.
Kainohaaveri connects with a body shot that sends Jackson's belly button to the back.

Jackson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kainohaaveri was covering up waiting for the punch and Jackson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jackson is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson is fighting to break Kainohaaveri's control of his arms but Kainohaaveri is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kainohaaveri utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kainohaaveri looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Kainohaaveri keeps moving.
Jackson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kainohaaveri has Jackson pulled in close to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tenhojohan Kainohaaveri dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kainohaaveri is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.

Jackson cracks Kainohaaveri with an uppercut from hell and Kainohaaveri crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jackson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!


Kainohaaveri is rocked!
Jackson loads up on a big left hand. Kainohaaveri felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jackson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kainohaaveri can't hide his disappointment, as Jackson celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). O Shea Jackson!
