The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre misses with a few strikes there.
Rally fails with an attempt to clinch.
St Pierre misses with a jab to the body
and Rally counters with a shoot takedown. St Pierre fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
St Pierre wants to stand and escape but Rally is having none of it.
St Pierre looks gassed!
St Pierre is working an open guard so Rally takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
St Pierre wants to clinch up but Rally keeps it at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Rally. No joy for St Pierre on that attempt.
St Pierre displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rally.
St Pierre defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rally.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rally tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. St Pierre manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rally shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches St Pierre napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rally is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. St Pierre knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Rally is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. St Pierre looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rally gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. St Pierre is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rally lets go of the hold and St Pierre can pop his arm back in it's socket.
