Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Dexteria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamal Jackson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Dexteria shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jamal Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dexteria misses with a wild body shot.
Dexteria fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jackson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dexteria defends it nicely.
Jackson moves forwards but Dexteria connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jackson throws a body punch but Dexteria moves out of range.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dexteria moves away.
Jackson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dexteria cracks a nice hook into Jackson's ribs.
Dexteria scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dexteria lands a glancing blow to the side of Jackson's head.

and Dexteria counters with a nice uppercut.
Jackson has his takedown stuffed
and Dexteria counters with a stiff right hand.
Franklin Dexteria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Jackson.

Dexteria bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jackson's head backwards.
Dexteria lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dexteria connects with a right hand. Jackson shakes it off.
Jackson misses with a looping right.
Jackson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dexteria moves into range and connects with a jab.
Jackson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dexteria under the eye.
A jab lands there for Dexteria.

Jackson is rocked!

Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dexteria is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Jackson looks gassed!
Dexteria keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jackson.
Jackson shoots for a takedown but Dexteria saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jackson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dexteria is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jackson.
Jackson misses with an uppercut
letting Dexteria counter with a right hand.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Dexteria finish him?
Jackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jackson seems to have recovered his senses.

Dexteria punishes Jackson's body with a nice straight punch.
Dexteria showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
Crunch! Dexteria slams his shin into Jackson's torso.
Dexteria slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Dexteria lands a big head kick that sends Jackson tumbling to the mat! Dexteria takes a step backwards and waves Jackson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jackson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jackson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Dexteria scoring well with a low kick there.
Jackson dives in and grabs Dexteria's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dexteria pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.
A cross from Dexteria lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dexteria, as that shot connected.
Dexteria cracks Jackson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jackson falls backwards against the ropes. Dexteria follows up with more strikes that drop Jackson to his knees. Dexteria keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jackson! This one is all over!
