Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kutchek Gore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogers has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kutchek Gore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mickey Rogers! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.

Rogers scores with a hook to the body. Gore takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Gore fails with a takedown attempt. Gore throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rogers scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gore doesn't seem bothered though. Gore tries to clinch there but Rogers circles away.
Rogers digs a good body shot into Gore's ribs.
Gore moves into the clinch successfully.
Gore softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Rogers working aggressively here.
Gore is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rogers can't fight it off and eventually Gore manages to take the fight to the floor. Rogers looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Gore is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/2.gif) That's two minutes gone in the round. Gore lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rogers circles away quickly and effectively. Gore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rogers scores with a one two! Gore had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Gore throws a good cross that connects.
Kutchek Gore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rogers throws a right and a left that both miss. Gore tries to bum rush Rogers with a series of wild strikes but Rogers uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rogers is looking to clinch but Gore is avoiding it.
Rogers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gore moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rogers looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gore has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rogers is trying to keep an underhook but Gore manages to get the takedown into half guard. Gore landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gore connects with a nice short shot to Rogers's temple. Rogers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rogers is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gore scores with a couple of nice shots.

Rogers is rocked! Gore content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gore has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gore working Rogers over with strikes. Rogers is still in real trouble! Can Gore finish him? Rogers keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Rogers seems to have recovered his senses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gore missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Gore is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gore moves nicely into side control. Gore scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rogers is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Gore can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kutchek Gore!
