Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Philip Go!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dim Mak!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Go fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mak manages to avoid it.
A right-left combo lands from Go.
It looks like Dim Mak has been cut.
Mak cracks Go with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Go drives through with a takedown into guard.
Go trying to control the position from guard on top but Mak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mak lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Go!
Mak stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Go tries to clinch up.
Mak connects with a looping right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Go gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Go misses with a takedown attempt - Mak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Go shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mak counters with a crisp one two that drops Go! Mak thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Go to his feet! Go is in big trouble!
Go is rocked!
Go is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mak fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Go out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Dim Mak!
