The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez de Lima shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rodriguez de Lima was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rodriguez de Lima has hold of Kodo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kodo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kodo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodriguez de Lima moves away.

Rodriguez de Lima is rocked!
Kodo darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rodriguez de Lima's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Kodo before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
