Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smido swats away the attempt to clinch by Jacobson.
A solid leg kick lands there for Smido.

Smido cracks Jacobson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jacobson tries for a takedown but Smido circles away easily
and Smido counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jacobson's knee momentarily.

Smido is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jacobson is just riding it out for now. Smido eventually gives up the hold.

Smido seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
