The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahern throws a front kick aimed at Youngblood's knee but Youngblood avoids it well.
Ahern avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Youngblood cracks a nice hook into Ahern's ribs.
Youngblood keeps the fight on the outside.
Ahern is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice cross by Youngblood.
It looks like Christian Ahern has been cut.
A combination from Youngblood does no damage.
Ahern is looking to clinch but Youngblood is avoiding it.
Nice jab there from Youngblood.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Youngblood slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ahern doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ahern wants to clinch up but Youngblood keeps it at a distance.
Ahern throws a head kick but Youngblood moves out of range.
Youngblood throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ahern stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ahern looks gassed!
Youngblood throws a shot to the body.
Youngblood cracks Ahern with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Ahern falls to his knees and Youngblood doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Youngblood!
