Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frog Eyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giovanni Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frog Eyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giovanni Brooks! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eyes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brooks. Brooks avoids the head kick by Eyes.

A lazy left from Eyes finds it's target. A head kick by Eyes misses and Brooks counters with a one-two to the body. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brooks crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Eyes - the referee stops the clock and Brooks gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Eyes. Brooks manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brooks closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Eyes quickly recovers to half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Eyes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Brooks thows a huge punch but Eyes dodges it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brooks is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brooks thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Brooks trying to control the pace. Eyes is staying active underneath Brooks, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Eyes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Eyes scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Brooks manages to mount him!
Brooks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Eyes is breathing heavily. Brooks tries to control but Eyes wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks unloading with bombs! Brooks jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Eyes manages to avoid the submission attempt. Brooks is looking to take a break and control but Eyes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Eyes has escaped the position, nice work there. Eyes wants to get back to his feet but Brooks is dominant here and he's now got Eyes's back! Brooks is looking to control Eyes but Eyes is wriggling around and keeping busy. Eyes fending off the submission attempt from Brooks. Eyes looking very determined here, making life difficult for Brooks.
Eyes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brooks on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eyes is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Brooks.
It looks like Brooks might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brooks working for the choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brooks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Eyes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brooks swats him away and circles back towards the center. Brooks shoots in and bounces Eyes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Eyes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Brooks is stalling in the full guard. Brooks is standing up over Eyes. Eyes looks to escape but Brooks dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eyes being controlled for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brooks wants to control but Eyes is keeping him busy. Brooks happy to just control the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brooks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brooks trying to control the position but Eyes is working away. Brooks working the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks is looking to take a break and control but Eyes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brooks thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Brooks advances to full mount. Eyes taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brooks wants to control the pace but Eyes is squirming around nicely. Brooks takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Eyes wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Brooks landing strikes, looking to finish! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brooks looking to control and managing it successfully. Eyes is bucking up trying to escape but Brooks cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Giovanni Brooks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Brooks takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Brooks trying to control the action but Eyes is working from the bottom. Eyes tries to kick Brooks off in order to stand up. Brooks Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Eyes takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Brooks passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Eyes! Brooks tries to control but Eyes wriggling away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brooks is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brooks scores a takedown into full mount! Brooks fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Brooks scoring with strikes but Eyes is staying in there. Brooks raining down shots from the mount! Brooks is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Eyes has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Giovanni Brooks has got the better of the ground game so far. Brooks controlling the position easily from mount. Brooks has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks get's back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brooks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Brooks decides to stand and escape the position. Brooks looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Brooks is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Frog Eyes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Giovanni Brooks is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Brooks content to control rather than advance.
