The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Despres throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drago's waist but Drago gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Despres off to one side.
Drago tries to close the distance and clinch but Despres swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Drago keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Despres instigates a clinch.
Drago scores with a knee to the head.
Drago tries to break the clinch but Despres is controlling the position.
Drago lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Simon Despres has been cut.
Drago with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Drago connects with a nasty looking knee right to Despres's face.
Despres is rocked!
Drago pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Despres! Drago unloads with more strikes and Despres sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
