Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raymon Dorh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Dennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dorh kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Quiet Dog Bite Hard. 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Dennis! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dorh throws a right and a left that Dennis avoids nicely. Dorh misses with a double jab
letting Dennis counter with a right hand. Dorh swinging wildly here.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dorh!
Dorh throws a jab but it's blocked by Dennis. A big right from Dennis misses. Dennis misses with a series of wild punches.
Jorge Dennis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dorh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dorh wants it to stay on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorh thows a body shot but no joy. Dorh misses with a hook. Dennis tries for a takedown but Dorh sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dennis defending well as Dorh loads up on a big left hand. Dorh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dennis to score with a decent uppercut. Dorh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dorh connects with a body shot. Dorh pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dennis back to the cage. Dorh follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dennis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dorh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dennis controls the position from side control. The ground and pound from Dennis seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Dennis lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Dorh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dorh tries to get out of the position. Dennis is looking to take a break and control but Dorh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dennis tries to score with some ground and pound. Dorh controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Dorh can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dorh manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dennis's best efforts. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dennis is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dorh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dennis is keen to just control but Dorh is a slippery customer. Dorh manages to get to full guard.
Dennis trying to control but Dorh is working from the bottom. Dorh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dennis on the ground. Dennis wants to pass the guard but Dorh is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dorh keeping moving, preventing Dennis from controlling successfully. Dorh is looking to stand back up but Dennis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Dorh. Dorh wants to get back to his feet.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dennis trying to control the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dennis wants to work for an arm triangle but Dorh is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Dennis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dorh avoids it really well and circles away. Raymon Dorh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorge Dennis. Dennis lands a nice hook to Dorh's body. Dorh takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Dorh stuffs the takedown attempt from Dennis. Dennis gets slowly back to his feet. Dennis gets a takedown into half guard. Dennis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dennis working over Dorh with some ground and pound. Dorh looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Dorh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dorh keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dennis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dorh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dennis prevents Dorh from improving his position. Dennis missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dennis lands strikes from half guard. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dennis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Raymon Dorh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dennis closes the distance and clinches up with Dorh, looking for a takedown. Dennis pushes Dorh against the cage but Dorh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dorh scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Dennis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dennis tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Dennis working away.

Dennis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dorh was well out of range. Poor timing from Dennis. Dorh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dorh wants it to stay on the feet. Dorh throws a series of punches but Dennis avoids them all with ease. Dennis dives in and grabs Dorh's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dorh pushes down on Dennis's head and hops out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dorh thows a body shot but no joy. Nice takedown defense from Dorh. No joy for Dennis on that attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dorh throws a nice looking combination but Dennis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dennis fails with the takedown. Dennis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dorh counters with a three punch combo that has Dennis backing up. Dennis nods at Dorh to acknowledge the strikes. Dorh misses with a wild body shot. Dorh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dennis. Dennis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dorh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dennis shoots in looking for a takedown. Dorh tries to sprawl out of it but Dennis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dorh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dorh tries to bum rush Dennis with a series of wild strikes but Dennis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dennis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dorh.
Dorh misses with a double jab.
Raymon Dorh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dennis takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dorh wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dennis. Jorge Dennis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dennis fails with the takedown. Dennis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dennis slips a jab from Dorh. Raymon Dorh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dorh lands with an overhand left. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dennis avoids the body shot from Dorh.
Dorh throws out a loose jab but Dennis uses good head movement to avoid it.
