Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Reynold Blanco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Staal!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Staal checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Blanco throws the left hand but Staal avoids the punch easily.
Left hook, right uppercut from Staal.
Staal tests Blanco's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Blanco swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Blanco throws a leg kick
and Staal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Staal buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A good leg kick by Staal.
Blanco blocks a head kick by Staal.
Staal scores with a kick to the midsection.
Staal moves out of range as Blanco strikes.
Staal dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blanco. That did some damage!
Blanco is breathing heavily.
Oooooh!!! Staal has knocked Blanco down with a huge combo! Staal steps away and waves a wobbly Blanco back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Reynold Blanco has been cut.
Staal clinches up with Blanco and pushes him back against the cage.
Staal leaning his opponent against the cage.
Blanco takes an elbow to the forehead.
Staal drops Blanco with a big knee straight up the middle! Blanco is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Blanco is rocked!
Staal lands a front kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Staal throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Blanco is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). John Staal!
