Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Velo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy DuRelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Velo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Eddy DuRelle's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Velo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddy DuRelle! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DuRelle shoots in for a double leg but Velo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Velo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from DuRelle. DuRelle fails in his attempt to clinch. Velo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Velo looks to land a combination. DuRelle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Eddy DuRelle has been cut. DuRelle clinches with his opponent.
DuRelle breaks from the clinch.
DuRelle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. DuRelle stands and steps away. He's got his arms around Velo's waist but Velo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing DuRelle off to one side. Velo throws a sloppy head kick and DuRelle moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. DuRelle scores with a kick to the midsection. Velo tries to score a power double leg takedown but DuRelle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Velo somewhat. The fight stays on the outside here - DuRelle looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Velo gets caught napping as DuRelle dives in and scores a takedown. Velo manages to retain guard. Velo is looking to stand up but DuRelle isn't so interested in that idea. DuRelle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velo keeping moving, preventing DuRelle from controlling successfully. Velo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Velo tries to get out of the position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Eddy DuRelle wasn't active enough on the ground. No luck with that takedown attempt from DuRelle. DuRelle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Velo lands an overhand right. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Excellent takedown into side control there by DuRelle. DuRelle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no DuRelle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! DuRelle looks gassed! Velo wants to get back to his feet but DuRelle drags him back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DuRelle is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Velo's shoulder. That is not cool. DuRelle grinds an elbow into Velo's temple. Velo is pushing DuRelle's head away, looking to escape. DuRelle manages to hold on to the position though. DuRelle stands up. Velo misses with a jab, cross combination.
DuRelle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velo throws a nice looking combination but DuRelle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. DuRelle tries to close the distance and clinch but Velo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Velo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! and Velo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! DuRelle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. DuRelle moves nicely into side control. A lull in the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DuRelle is looking to clinch but Velo is avoiding it.
DuRelle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Velo napping and manages to drive through into side control! DuRelle advances to mount. DuRelle controlling from mount. Eddy DuRelle has got the better of the ground game so far. DuRelle lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. DuRelle working for a submission but Velo is keeping him at bay. DuRelle moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Velo has worked his arm free - good work by Velo!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Velo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. DuRelle is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Velo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. DuRelle prevents Velo from escaping the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. DuRelle passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Velo! DuRelle controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
