Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesper Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harrison's entrance music is God's Gonna Cut You Down. A fine choice. Rush has chosen Tom Sawyer - Rush as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jesper Rush! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush looks to throw the jab but Harrison is out of range. Decent striking displayed by Harrison there. Harrison misses with a wild body shot. Harrison scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rush doesn't seem bothered though. Rush is looking to land body kicks. Rush fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Harrison is out of range. Good shot there by Harrison. Harrison fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rush throws a sloppy head kick and Harrison moves out of range easily. Rush keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Harrison cracks Rush with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rush ducks under a wild hook from Harrison. Harrison lands an overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison misses with a takedown attempt - Rush sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rush dives in and scores a takedown into Harrison's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Rush pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harrison is keeping the position for now. Harrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Harrison working for a triangle but Rush defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison keeping moving, preventing Rush from controlling successfully. Harrison is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rush engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rush trying to control but Harrison is working from the bottom. Rush is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jesper Rush wasn't active enough on the ground. Harrison takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rush's waist but Rush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harrison off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Harrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harrison misses with a body punch
and Rush counters with a one-two to the body. Rush throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Rush blocks a jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Harrison. Rush does a little dance to reset his feet. Harrison has a takedown stuffed. Rush throws a jab but it's blocked by Harrison. Harrison throws the left hand but Rush avoids the punch easily. Rush throws a nice inside leg kick. Rush uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harrison.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison looks to score with a jab to the body but Rush is just out of range. Rush missing with a left hand there. Harrison was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Rush is looking to chop away at Harrison's legs. Harrison misses with a body shot.
Rush needs to keep his hands up - Harrison had a free shot at his head there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rush on the wrong end of a nice jab. Harrison pushes Rush up against the cage in a clinch. Rush lands on the inside with an uppercut. Rush breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harrison throws a series of strikes that have Rush backpedaling.

Harrison fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jesper Rush will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Rush tries to land a front kick but Harrison steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Harrison scores with a hook. Harrison checks a leg kick nicely. Rush throws a low kick but it's checked well by Harrison. Harrison swings for the body but Rush moves out of range.
Rush shoots in but Harrison avoids the takedown attempt easily. Harrison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rush. Harrison shoots in for a takedown but Rush shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick misses from Rush. Rush scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Harrison doesn't seem bothered though. Harrison lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rush circles away quickly and effectively. Harrison closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Rush misses with a body kick. Rush takes a swing at Harrison's ribcage but misses. Harrison misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rush.
Jab by Harrison. Rush swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rush attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Harrison tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rush manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rush gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Harrison makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison throws the left hand but Rush avoids the punch easily. Rush throws a right hand that misses
and Harrison counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Harrison lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Rush closes the distance and clinches up with Harrison, looking for a takedown. Rush pushes Harrison against the cage but Harrison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. William Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesper Rush. Rush misses with an uppercut. Harrison saw that one coming. Harrison fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Rush will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harrison misses with a series of wild punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Harrison throws a hook but Rush blocks it. Harrison lands a nice shot that snaps Rush's head back.
Harrison checks a leg kick. Rush tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harrison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rush somewhat. Rush swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Harrison counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Harrison shoots in for a double leg but Rush sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Harrison looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rush is fending him off so far but Harrison persists. Nope, Rush circles away and we're back to standing. Rush dodges the punch combination from Harrison.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rush defends it nicely. Harrison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rush was well out of range. Poor timing from Harrison. A big left from Harrison misses. Harrison misses with a body shot.
Rush circles away from the clinch attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rush takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Rush misses with a lunging right hand
and Harrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rush walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Harrison checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that William Harrison will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rush swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rush working a defensive guard here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jesper Rush hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rush tries to sprawl but Harrison drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harrison is working away from the top position though. Harrison moves into full mount! Rush won't be happy about that! Harrison has hold of Rush's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rush manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Harrison throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison looking for a guillotine from mount but Rush is having none of it. Rush can't escape the position.
Rush wants to hold on but Harrison pushes him away. Rush is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Harrison is staying active. Rush tries to reverse the position but Harrison maintains control. Harrison takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harrison working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Rush biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to William Harrison. I think Harrison has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
