Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karch Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barron comes to the cage accompanied by Ave Satani. On his way into the cage it seems that Colin Barron has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Colin Barron seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karch Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin shoots in but no luck this time.
Griffin shoots in looking for a takedown but Barron manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Griffin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Barron slaps away a takedown attempt from Griffin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Colin Barron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karch Griffin.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Griffin.

Barron lands a leg kick that knocks Griffin off balance momentarily.
Griffin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barron as he avoids it easily.

Griffin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Barron dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Griffin. That did some damage!

Griffin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barron can pounce on him.

Barron fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Griffin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donk. Barron catches Griffin right on the button with a cross.
Griffin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barron can pounce on him.
Griffin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barron.

Barron feints and then cracks Griffin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Griffin down.

Barron digs a good body shot into Griffin's ribs.

Barron fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Griffin.
Barron comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Barron bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Griffin's head backwards.
Barron plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Barron lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Barron thumps Griffin with a low kick.
Griffin shoots for a takedown but Barron saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Barron lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Griffin takes a kick to the side of the head.
Griffin's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Griffin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barron.
A chopping leg kick lands by Barron.
Barron shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Griffin eats them both and turns towards Barron to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Barron scores with a jab. Griffin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Barron, right into the meat.
Barron fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Griffin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Griffin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Barron chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Griffin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Barron delivers a nice body kick.
Barron thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Griffin if he has to take too many more of those.

Barron scores with a hook to the body. Griffin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Barron fakes the leg kick and cracks Griffin in the body.
Barron feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Griffin's calf.
Griffin takes a kick to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Griffin might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Barron has got the better of the exchanges.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barron buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Griffin seems to have recovered his senses.

Barron lands a big head kick that sends Griffin tumbling to the mat! Barron takes a step backwards and waves Griffin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Griffin walks straight into a right hand from Barron - that's dropped him! Barron jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Griffin from any more punishment! Griffin complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Colin Barron!
