Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reed Swallwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Marcus Tua is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marcus Tua! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swallwell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tua. Swallwell jabs Tua to the body, keeping him at a distance. Tua looks gassed! Tua swats away the attempt to clinch by Swallwell. Swallwell tries to clinch there but Tua circles away.
Tua displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Swallwell. Swallwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tua is fending him off so far but Swallwell persists. Nope, Tua circles away and we're back to standing. Tua should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Swallwell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tua but Tua pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reed Swallwell. Swallwell shoots in looking for a takedown but Tua manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Swallwell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Swallwell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Swallwell throws a leg kick that is checked and Tua counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Swallwell closes the distance but Tua moves to the side and Tua counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Marcus Tua has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Reed Swallwell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Swallwell tries to clinch but Tua moves away and Tua cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that's the end of the fight! Reed Swallwell showed his dominance in that final round. Well Swallwell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
