Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Brown!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe misses with a straight left.
Doe is looking to score with low kicks.
Brown throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Doe misses with a head kick.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Doe tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown tries to score a power double leg takedown but Doe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brown somewhat.
Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Doe's waist but Doe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Doe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Doe's legs - danger averted.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doe is looking to stand up but Brown isn't so interested in that idea.

Brown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Doe will probably get the nod.

The crowd cheers as Doe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brown doesn't seem phased though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Doe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
