Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rich Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr White!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown blocks a head kick by White.

White moves into range and clinches up with Brown.
With the fighters up against the cage, White throws an elbow but misses.
Nice elbow from White.
Brown is trying to drag White to the mat but White just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A short left from White.
Brown tries to break free but White pushes him back against the cage.
Brown wants a takedown but no success here.
White stalls.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from White.
White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

White misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Brown counters with a nice leg kick.
Brown is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Brown tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
White takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Brown tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Brown looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
White throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brown throws a low kick but White moves out of range easily.

Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.
Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brown doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
White tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts White, as that shot connected.
White missing with a left hand there. Brown was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
White throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily.

White closes the distance and clinches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown drops down looking for an ankle pick but White pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt - White sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - White looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

White throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
White tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten White somewhat.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from White.

White has closed the distance and engaged Brown in a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Brown takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
White might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
White lands a head shot.
White misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Brown fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brown dodges the punch combination from White.
White tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from White.

White loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch.

Brown will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nice defenses there by Brown.

and White counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

White misses with a wild combination.
Brown has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt.
White lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
White throws a jab but it's blocked by Brown.

White lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Brown tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. White just stands there and leans against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
White lands a right hand.
Knees in the clinch landing for White.
A nice glancing elbow lands by White.
White comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brown. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
White prevents the takedown attempt.
Brown tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

White breaks the clinch.
Mr White seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Brown takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
White misses with a lunging right hand
and Brown counters with a nice uppercut.

Brown uses good head movement to avoid the hook from White.
White scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brown is defended easily by White.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
White fails with an attempt to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brown slips a jab and a cross from White.
Brown throws a head kick but White moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Brown manages to work his way to half guard, despite White's best efforts.

Brown is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but White pulls his head out easily.
Brown tries to get to full guard but White has control of the leg.
White passes the guard and advances to mount!
Brown is in all sorts of trouble here.

White moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Brown has worked his arm free - good work by Brown!
White connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Brown some visible discomfort.

White cracks Brown with a big right hand but Brown just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Brown regains half guard.

Brown looking for submissions off his back.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Brown is refusing to be controlled, as White sits in half guard.

White is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Brown is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
White working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
White frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
White with a couple of short strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
White raining down shots from the mount!


Brown is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for White! Brown is hurt baaadly! White is firing away with more strikes - Brown is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr White!
