Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paavo Vayrynen!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornish fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vayrynen avoids it really well and circles away.
Cornish takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Ben Cornish has been cut.
Cornish shoots in but no luck this time.
Vayrynen has closed the distance and engaged Cornish in a clinch.
Vayrynen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cornish backwards.
Vayrynen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vayrynen throws a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vayrynen has managed to clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Vayrynen lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Cornish tries to pull guard but Vayrynen won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Cornish. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vayrynen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Paavo Vayrynen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vayrynen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vayrynen. Cornish does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vayrynen cracks Cornish with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vayrynen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cornish to stand back up!
Cornish is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Cornish is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vayrynen lands a big right hand that drops Cornish! The killer instinct kicks in and Vayrynen finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Vayrynen!
