Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Steiner! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Steiner throws out the jab but it was never going to land. No joy there for Steiner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Steiner throws a quick inside leg kick. Jackson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Steiner. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steiner is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Steiner circles away and we're back to standing. Some wild striking there from Steiner.
Steiner explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Steiner doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Steiner scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Steiner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steiner looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely. Jackson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Steiner. Steiner misses with a hook. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Steiner, as that shot connected.

Steiner cracks the inside of Jackson's front leg. Steiner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Steiner won't be happy with that. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Steiner is trying to escape the position but Jackson is controlling the position. Jackson is trying to ground and pound but Steiner uses the momentary lack of control by Jackson to regain half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Steiner! Steiner looks gassed! Jackson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
It looks like Frankie Steiner has been cut. Jackson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Steiner can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jackson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Jackson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson working for a guillotine from mount but Steiner is in no mood to give up. Jackson lands a big elbow. Jackson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poor strikes thrown by Jackson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Jackson controlling his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Jackson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Frankie Steiner's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Steiner throws a lazy uppercut
and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Steiner's guard now. Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Steiner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Samuel Jackson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jackson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jackson wants to control from the top but Steiner keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steiner is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Jackson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Steiner is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jackson, into his guard. Jackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steiner's guard. Steiner is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Steiner has wrist control. Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson trying to control but Steiner is working from the bottom. Jackson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jackson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jackson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Frankie Steiner's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jackson working some strikes from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson pushes down on Steiner's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jackson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jackson content to control rather than advance. Jackson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Steiner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jackson missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jackson landing strikes from the mount.
Steiner is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frankie Steiner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Samuel Jackson!
