Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunther Octavius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francis Brizuela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brizuela throws a lazy right hand but Octavius sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Octavius misses with a two punch combination.
Octavius shoots in for a takedown but Brizuela shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Octavius drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Octavius closes the distance and clinches up with Brizuela, looking for a takedown. Octavius pushes Brizuela against the ropes but Brizuela circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Octavius has Brizuela pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Brizuela manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Octavius blocks an elbow strike.
Brizuela using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Octavius has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Gunther Octavius's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Brizuela lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Octavius backwards.

Octavius breaks from the clinch.
Octavius shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brizuela but Brizuela pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Brizuela misses with a hook. Octavius ducked under it nicely.

Octavius throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brizuela's waist but Brizuela gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Octavius off to one side.

Brizuela cracks Octavius with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brizuela has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Octavius to stand back up!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nice takedown defense from Brizuela. No joy for Octavius on that attempt.
Brizuela is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Octavius flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Octavius is out cold! Brizuela holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
