Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Pal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Stock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joey Stock will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcin Pal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joey Stock! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pal tries to avoid it but Stock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pal to the ground. Pal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pal swats away the attempt to clinch by Stock. Stock fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Stock moves into the clinch. Pal has Stock pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stock manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Pal tightens his grip and picks Stock up, before dumping him to the ground. Stock manages to land in guard. Pal in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stock controls Pal momentarily but Pal frees himself. Pal's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stock is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Joey Stock was stalling too much, according to the referee. Stock tries to clinch but Pal is having none of it. Stock shoots in for a double leg but Pal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pal feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stock trying to control the position.
Pal is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stock is keeping the position for now. Pal not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pal is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pal working the head and body with strikes. Stock on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Stock takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Pal just content to control the position. Stock is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Stock is trying to get back to his feet. Stock looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Stock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stock is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pal has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stock's face.

Pal lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stock down.

No luck for Pal with that takedown attempt. Pal fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stock with a lazy takedown attempt so Pal counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pal works over Stock with some ground and pound from guard. Pal seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pal has managed to get both his arms back between Stock's legs - danger averted. Pal sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stock's guard. Well, if Pal is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Stock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This has been an exciting period of action! Pal wants to pass to mount but Stock is defending the position.

Pal seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stock for as long as he can get away with. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Marcin Pal wasn't doing enough on the ground. Pal closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pal lands in his opponent's guard. Pal showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pal advances to half guard. Pal looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Pal scoring with strikes to the body and head. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pal in particular looking to stall. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marcin Pal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stock is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pal scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pal lands with a punch from half guard. Pal takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Stock taking some punishment here, with Pal in his half guard. Pal content to control rather than advance. Pal scoring with strikes to the body and head. Pal is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Pal is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pal with shots to the head and body - Stock looks very uncomfortable down there. Pal looking to control and managing it successfully. Pal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pal cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

And that's the end of the fight! Marcin Pal showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pal, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
