The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Othman swats away the attempt to clinch by Haimovich. Othman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Haimovich shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Othman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Haimovich pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Othman is keeping the position for now. Haimovich trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Haimovich working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Othman keeping moving, preventing Haimovich from controlling successfully. Othman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Haimovich controls the pace. Haimovich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Othman on the ground.

Haimovich tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Haimovich jabs Othman to the body, keeping him at a distance. Haimovich connects with a nice looking jab.
Haimovich with a nice cross. Haimovich tries to clinch up. Haimovich closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Othman to the mat! Othman manages to get full guard. Haimovich trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haimovich lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Haimovich pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Othman is keeping the position for now. Haimovich stops Othman from standing up. Haimovich trying to control but Othman is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Zeev Haimovich. Haimovich scores with a hook to the body. Othman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Haimovich darts in and clinches Othman up against the cage. Haimovich jumps guard but Othman stands there with Haimovich around his waist. Haimovich gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Haimovich seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Othman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Haimovich connects with a nice short shot to Othman's temple. Haimovich is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Othman! Haimovich looking to control but Othman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Haimovich is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Othman can do to turn this around? The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Othman is trying to stand.
And that's the end of the fight! Zeev Haimovich showed his dominance in that final round. Well Haimovich has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
