Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between River Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Do Ya Thang. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rodrigues has a takedown stuffed.
Gracie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rodrigues.
Gracie throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rodrigues keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Rodrigues saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
River Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Rodrigues.
Rodrigues misses with a series of wild punches.
Rodrigues changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gracie wants to control but Rodrigues postures up.
Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Gracie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rodrigues on the ground.
Rodrigues is trying to get an arm triangle but Gracie is defending well.

Gracie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rodrigues counters with a single leg into guard. Gracie didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rodrigues stands up from Gracie's guard - Rodrigues perhaps looking for a knockout.
Rodrigues throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it.

Rodrigues connects with a jab.
Rodrigues closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gracie circles away.
Gracie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gracie wants it to stay on the feet.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodrigues but Rodrigues pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rodrigues throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like River Gracie has been cut.
Rodrigues looks gassed!
Rodrigues tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gracie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rodrigues somewhat.
Gracie scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Gracie lands a jab-cross combination.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.
Rodrigues defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie misses with a low kick.
Rodrigues ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rodrigues fails with the takedown.
Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Rodrigues bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rodrigues misses with a wild combination.
Rodrigues shoots in looking for a takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl out of it but Rodrigues keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gracie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Rodrigues fails with a takedown attempt.
Gracie wants to clinch but Rodrigues slips to the side
and Rodrigues counters by moving into the clinch.
Gracie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rodrigues closes the distance and clinches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Rodrigues dominated that round.
The cut man is working on River Gracie's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rodrigues somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Rodrigues, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Rodrigues against the cage but Rodrigues circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gracie tries to clinch up but Rodrigues circles away and keeps his distance.
Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie misses with a double jab
and Rodrigues counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rodrigues wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.

Rodrigues fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rodrigues can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gracie is looking to escape.
Gracie tries to hold on but Rodrigues pushes him away.

Rodrigues scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Rodrigues has isolated one of Gracie's arms. Gracie looking to fight him off but Rodrigues twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
