Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mui Thai!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thai ducks under a wild hook from Lesnar.
Silverback Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Thai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lesnar throws the left hand but Thai avoids the punch easily.

Thai shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lesnar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thai circles away quickly and effectively.

Lesnar throws a hook to the side of Thai's head but Thai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lesnar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thai manages to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thai shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thai is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mui Thai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Lesnar's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

I think Thai has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
