Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kulapu Kupula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kulapu Kupula had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Riley Freeman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kupula shoots in for a double leg but Freeman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fighters circle momentarily. Freeman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kupula takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kupula looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Freeman jabs at Kupula's body.
Freeman lands a head shot.
Freeman lands a jab to the nose.
Freeman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Freeman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kupula shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Freeman as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kulapu Kupula. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Freeman throws a series of strikes that have Kupula backpedaling.
Kupula is rocked!
Freeman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kupula has time to react.
Oh Kupula is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick misses from Kupula.
Kupula throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kupula is breathing heavily.
Freeman throws a wild body kick that Kupula sees coming a mile off.
Freeman lands with a right that hurts Kupula. Kupula looks to clinch but Freeman throws a short knee that drops Kupula. This one is all over!
