Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travos closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Deere quickly recovers to half guard.
Travos moves into full mount! Deere won't be happy about that!
Travos putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Travos lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Travos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Deere is surviving well by controlling Travos's body position as best he can.
Travos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Deere really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Travos cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Deere keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Travos scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Deere?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Travos is landing with some decent strikes but Deere is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Travos lands a nice shot to the head.
Deere tries to hold on but Travos postures up.
The referee warns Deere that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Travos postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Deere badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Travos around the waist but Travos pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Travos is the winner by TKO! Travos jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Travos!
