Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mandy Brandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandy comes to the cage accompanied by Protect ya neck. Brannigan has chosen QOTSA - 'You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire' as his entrance music. Mandy Brandy has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mandy Brandy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 2, fighting out of London, Alex Brannigan! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brandy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brannigan. Brandy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Brannigan. Brandy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Brandy shoots in but Brannigan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brandy moves out of range as Brannigan throws a body kick.
Brannigan throws a body kick that misses. Brannigan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Brannigan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Brandy works over Brannigan's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Alex Brannigan has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brannigan checks a leg kick. Brandy dives in and grabs Brannigan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brannigan pushes down on Brandy's head and hops out. Brannigan tries to clinch up but Brandy circles away and keeps his distance. Brannigan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Alex Brannigan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab-cross combination lands for Brandy and sends Brannigan crashing to the mat! Brandy follows him down to the mat - Brannigan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! Brannigan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Brandy wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brandy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brannigan is just riding it out for now. Brandy eventually gives up the hold. Brannigan tries to get to full guard but Brandy has control of the leg. Brannigan is refusing to be controlled, as Brandy sits in half guard. Brannigan is trying to maintain the position but Brandy is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandy thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Brannigan to regain full guard. Brandy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Brannigan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brandy's guard. Brannigan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Brannigan advances to half guard. Brandy is trying to get back to full guard. Brannigan stalling. Brannigan prevents Brandy from improving his position. Well, if Brannigan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Mandy Brandy dominated that round. The cut man is working on Alex Brannigan's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brandy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Brandy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brannigan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Brannigan needs to keep his hands up - Brandy had a free shot at his head there. Brannigan throws a head kick but Brandy moves out of range.
Brannigan throws a half hearted mid kick. Brandy throws a lazy right hand but Brannigan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Brandy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brandy stuns Brannigan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Brannigan tries to clinch there but Brandy circles away.
Mandy Brandy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brandy throws a right and a left that Brannigan avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brannigans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Brannigan motions for Brandy to come forward. Brannigan throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Brandy throws a wild body kick that Brannigan sees coming a mile off. Brannigan slips a straight right by Brandy. Brandy connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brannigan. Brannigan circles away out of range and recomposes himself. No luck with that takedown attempt from Brandy. Brannigan is looking to clinch but Brandy is avoiding it.
A jab from Brandy misses. Brandy thuds a left hand into Brannigan's body. Brandy throws a looping overhand right but Brannigan ducks down to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brandy throws a series of punches but Brannigan moves out of range. Brannigan throws a nice inside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brannigan takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Brandy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brannigan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brandy jabs Brannigan right on the nose. Brannigan blinks but takes it well. Brandy takes a swing at Brannigan's ribcage but misses. Brandy thows a left - swing and a miss! Brandy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brandy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brannigan manages to avoid it. Mandy Brandy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brannigan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brandy somewhat. Brandy throws a chopping leg kick but Brannigan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Brandy is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brandy throws a series of punches but Brannigan moves out of range. Brannigan slips under a jab from Brandy. Brandy scores with a jab. Brannigan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brandy is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Brannigan cracks the inside of Brandy's front leg. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brannigan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brandy. Brandy will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Brannigan lands on the inside with an uppercut. Brannigan lands a damaging elbow. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brandy misses with a short punch on the inside. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brandy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Brannigan just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brandy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brannigan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mandy Brandy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brannigan is struggling to control the position. Brandy takes an elbow to the temple. A nice glancing elbow lands by Brannigan.
It looks like Mandy Brandy has been cut. Brannigan lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Brannigan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Brandy's defenses. With the fighters up against the cage, Brandy throws an elbow but misses. Brannigan lands an elbow inside that Brandy shrugs off. Brannigan slowing the pace effectively. Brandy is trying to drag Brannigan to the mat but Brannigan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Brandy tries to pull guard but Brannigan holds him up against the cage and eventually Brandy drops back down to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brannigan lands an elbow inside that Brandy shrugs off. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Brandy is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Brannigan lands a body punch in the clinch. Brandy being controlled against the cage. Brannigan is pressed up against the cage. Brandy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Brannigan down to the mat. Brannigan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Brannigan throws a nice outside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brandy lands with a right hand. Brannigan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Brannigan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brannigan scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Brandy misses with a hook
and Brannigan counters with a thumping low kick. Brannigan is looking to slow Brandy down with leg kicks. Brandy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brannigan.

Alex Brannigan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Brannigan connects with a leg kick. Brandy looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brandy throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Brannigan tries to close the distance and clinch but Brandy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brandy moves out of range of the strikes. Brandy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brannigan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brandy has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Brandy misses with a takedown attempt - Brannigan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Good leg kick by Brannigan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that's the end of the fight! Alex Brannigan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brannigan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
