Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Bengtsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Surprise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Surprise has chosen Remember my NAME! as his entrance music. Ace Surprise has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Johan Bengtsson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ace Surprise! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Surprise is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bengtsson. Surprise lands with a nice body punch. Surprise shoots in but Bengtsson avoids the takedown attempt easily. A head kick misses from Bengtsson. Surprise jabs Bengtsson to the body, keeping him at a distance. Surprise misses with an uppercut. Surprise swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bengtsson. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bengtsson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bengtsson tries to close the distance and clinch but Surprise swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bengtsson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Surprise. Bengtsson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Surprise counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Surprise passes to side control. The ground and pound from Surprise seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Surprise tries for a kimura but Bengtsson is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Surprise tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Bengtsson parries the strikes from Surprise easily there. Surprise is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bengtsson to escape.
Surprise connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bengtsson some visible discomfort.
Surprise misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Bengtsson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Surprise trying to pass the guard but Bengtsson defending well. Surprise is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Surprise trying to control from half guard but Bengtsson is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Surprise works his way into side control. Surprise lands some shots froms side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Surprise postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Surprise working away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Surprise looks up at the clock and then as Bengtsson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Surprise smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Surprise trying to control the position but Bengtsson is working away. Surprise has knee on belly and moves into mount. Bengtsson is looking to get to half guard. Bengtsson manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Surprise is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Surprise lands strikes from half guard. Bengtsson wants to improve his position but Surprise is controlling well.
Surprise looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Surprise sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bengtsson defending well though. Surprise has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Surprise looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bengtsson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bengtsson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Surprise passes to side control. Surprise working the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Surprise working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Bengtsson is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A big shot lands for Surprise! That's hurt Bengtsson! Will he recover? Surprise fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ace Surprise! Ace Surprise is the new light heavyweight champion!
